The Bladium In-Line Hockey Stadium hosted:

The Second Annual SFSkaters Swap Meet

Bladium is located at 1050 Third Street in San Francisco.

Last Year's SFSkaters Swap Meet was a great success with over 300 attendees. Check out some %link17 _6% from last year's Swap Meet.

People found Hockey, Recreational and Speedskating equipment
for sale or trade at unbelievable prices!

Last year there were so many door prizes that 1/3 of the attendees won at least one! There will be more people this year so we're trying to get even more door prizes...

This year we had enough door prizes that everyone who was still there at the end got one!

The SFSkaters Swap Meet was originally created by Howard Cohen (founder of the SFSkaters mailing list) and Anna Stubbs, co-founder of the Roller Divas Women's Skating Club.

Share the Joy

Last year over 55 pairs of used skates were donated at the Swap Meet to CORA's Skate Against Violence campaign. Donated skates are refurbished and given to kids who couldn't otherwise afford them.

We didn't beat that number this year, partly because attendance was lower, and partly because many of the regulars who came had already donated their old skates. Thanks to everyone wo did make a donation. Lets try for more next year.

Door Prizes

Last year there was an impressive list of door prize donors. This year times are harder in the in-line skating industry, but we still got plenty of donations. Many thanks to those companies who continue to support us even in these harder times.

Who is Coming?

This year there will be a number of skate shops with equipment for sale. They'll bring great deals on equipment and you can talk with them about what is happening in the industry and what's coming up. There will also be booths for skating related products. You can talk to the inventors! Plus, some Skating Organizations will have booths as well.

The following Skate Shops, Equipment Manufacturers and Organizations have indicated they will be at the Swap Meet:
